• Master ISC option ROC at UTLN:
The Master’s Degree in Complex Systems Engineering Robotics and Connected Objects (ROC – Robotics & IoT) offers training around four fields of expertise: mechanical-robotics, automation, artificial intelligence and embedded systems-connected objects. These four fields are necessary for the design and implementation of complete, high-performance mechatronic systems capable of deciding and interacting effectively with man and the environment in an autonomous way.
The keywords of this training program are robotics and connected objects, which are in constant development, and which are the basis for many applications: drones, land and underwater mobile vehicles, parallel robots, biomechanics, humanoids, cobots, intelligent sensor network.
The Master’s Degree can be obtained in co-diplomation with the engineering school Seatech in 2nd year. A certain number of modules are shared between the two training courses.
The persons in charge of this training have close contacts with the Pôle Mer Méditerranée (Sea Innovation Cluster) which has more than 400 members, including smes and institutes. The cluster aims to promote sustainable development of the maritime and coastal economy in the Mediterranean, Europe and the rest of the world. Among its members (download member list here), companies who work in the field of marine and maritime robotics are looking for graduates whose profiles match our training.
Examples of companies/institutes that take our students on internships or offer them employment contracts are as follows:
Here is a list of the types of jobs:
– R&D engineer in robotics, automation, mecatronics, embedded systems,
– R&D engineer in the field of the Internet of Things,
– Project manager.
