Dynamic control of roped underwater robots

Since its creation, the COSMER laboratory has been developing a research axis on the management of mini-ROV cables. One solution is to position intermediate robots along the cable to constrain its shape. This year, jointly with the team of control theory of the CNRS LIS of Toulon, we propose to go further on this subject with this new thesis.

In this thesis, we will try to model dynamically the system constituted by actuated robots and passive cables and to propose observers and an adapted dynamic control.
