REF-FA-MCO : Reference Framework for Additive Manufacturing in Operational Maintenance

2019-22

The objective of this research is to produce a robust repository for the redesign / qualification and manufacturing process of parts or sets of parts in additive manufacturing for the maintenance in operational conditions.

To reach these objectives, the identification of test parts obtained according to different processes, different manufacturing parameters and different design strategies will allow to formalize robust recommendations guaranteeing a respect of the product specifications and production constraints. The typology of the test parts would include:

  • monobloc parts under mechanical stress (compression, traction, torsion and bending), under vibration, under thermal stress,
  • parts with microstructure under mechanical stress (compression, traction, torsion and bending), under vibration, under thermal stress,
  • multi-body system (in series, in parallel, hybrid) under dynamic mechanical stress
